Your
first visit will be a unique experience. .
Prior to your visit our friendly staff will be able to answer many
of your questions. . A friendly greeting
upon your arrival is a must. . You
will meet the Doctor in his private office, where both of you will
discuss your medical and dental history, your goals and expectations
of your mouth and smile in strict confidentiality. .
Time is allotted to allow coverage of all of your concerns
and comments.

| Dr.
Appelbaum will take all the above information and assimilate it into
a comprehensive treatment plan based on his extensive training and
knowledge. He will conclude and review all of the above findings and
discuss the ideal treatment plan and alternative treatment plans.
You then are given time to ask questions and sometimes a second consultation
is indicated because of the extensiveness of the case. You will never
be rushed into accepting any treatment. All your questions and concerns
must be addressed prior to initiating any treatment. This approach
to dental care is based on the philosophy that education is the best
form of preventive dentistry. Preventive dentistry is much, much less
expensive then the alternatives. Also, an informed patient has less
apprehension and fear in regards to the their dental visits. The treatment
plan acts as a road map and we will follow it as it was outlined.
You can rest assured knowing that we will also address your individual
comfort levels at each appointment. |

based on recommendation of the American Dental Association, OSHA and
the U.S. Center for Disease Control. Some of the precautions we strictly
perform to assure your peace of mind are: Use of gloves, masks and
protective eyewear Contracted sterilization monitoring services to
insure effectiveness of equipment and procedures. Sterilization of
all instruments placed intra-orally Sterilization of handpieces (drills)
Disposable usage to prevent cross-contamination Regular staff meetings
upgrading standards and keeping staff well informed. |
