	I started 20 years ago as a Registered Dental Assistant. After assisting and doing administrative duties for the first 10 years, I decided to focus on only administrative duties and help patients with their insurance as well as arrange the finances for them to get the smile they want. I have attended many educational and advanced training courses to keep my Registered Dental Assisting credentials active. I am familiar with most insurance plans and assist our patients with obtaining their maximum benefits. My primary job is to keep this dental office humming smoothly and give top service to our patients.

	I assist Dr. Applebaum in all chair side duties, including tasks as: digital x-rays, knowing and using today’s Hi-tech dental materials, fabrication of temporary crowns, coronal polishing, and answer your dental questions. I have over ten years of dental experience and continue taking many dental courses to keep current with all the latest techniques and new dental products. I am extremely satisfied with our team here at Dr. Applebaum and have great pride and confidence with the personal care we are giving.
	Some of the precautions we strictly perform to assure your peace of mind are: Use of gloves, masks and protective eyewear. Contracted sterilization monitoring services to insure effectiveness of equipment and procedures. Sterilization of all instruments placed intra-orally Sterilization of handpieces (drills). Disposable usage to prevent cross-contamination. Regular staff meetings upgrading standards and keeping staff well informed.
